Radioamatørene i Florø

Radioamatørgruppen LA1F i Florø har ikke hatt den største aktiviteten de siste årene, men nå kan det se ut til at aktiviteten tar seg opp med nye medlemmer og økt interesse.
LA1F-Florøgruppen startet opp i 1975, og har mer eller mindre vært aktive hele tiden med varierende antall medlemmer. I dag er kun 1 av de "gamle gutta" igjen -Herman Vokuhl.
Han kunne fortelle at den gang hadde de det første klubblokalet på Folkeskolen, og etter det på ulike steder før de endte opp i eget lokale; Kjær-huset ved Kleiva-bakken.
På forsamlingen torsdag kveld presenterte Kato Sandvik (bildet over) ulike metoder å samkjøre en HF-rigg (radio) sammen med Internett og ulike programvarer. Det hele ble presentert på storskjerm, og alle fulgte ivrig med på hvilke muligheter dagens teknologi kan by på for en radioamatør.
På baksiden av FSK sitt klubbhus ble det rigget opp en strekk antenne på ca.20 meter for å oppnå radiokontakt. Etter en god times gjennomgang med nyttig informasjon på storskjerm, startet Sandvik opp HF-radioen, og det tok ikke lange tiden før han snappet opp en samtale mellom to karer på østlandet.
Tre av de som var samlet på klubbhuset har ikke lisens idag, men ble så inspirert etter demostreringen av HF og 2-meter radio (vhf) at påmelding til lisens ikke er langt unna. Martin Ottesen er en av de uten lisens, men er allerede igang med å lese til eksamen.
Det er sikkert mange som har tenkt tanken om å ta radioamatørlisensen opp igjennom tiden, og flere droppet dette grunnet at en MÅTTE lære seg å morse (cw). Dette slipper du idag, da dette bortfalt i 2004!
I tillegg er det slutt på å reise til Bergen for å ta eksamen....nå kan du gjøre dette i Florø
Så er du en av de som har tenkt tanken om å bli radioamatør, så er tiden nå inne for å gjøre det.
LA1F Florøgruppen tar gledelig imot nye medlemmer, og er behjelpelig med å skaffe arbeidsbøker og det som skal til for at du kommer igang.
Undertegnede har selv ventet på at cw (morseteknikk) skulle utgå, og tok eksamen her i Florø for kort tid siden (LA4GPA).
Sandvik har tru på at flere nå ser muligheten med at alt er mye enklere å bestå nå enn før, og ikke minst at en kan få tatt eksamen her i Florø.

*HAITI: HH/HB9AMO vil være i gang i ca. én måned, mest på 30 til 17 meter

* THAILAND: HSØZGQ er i gang til 25. januar på 40 - 10 meter med CW og SSB,
og vil være i gang én uke fra IOTA AS-101 som HSØZGQ/2. QSL til DL1MFJ. I
tillegg vil HSØZJF operere på HF-båndene med kun CW fra 12. januar til 8.
mars. I løpet av perioden vil han også operere fra IOTA AS-101 som

/2 og den andre som /8 fra samme øygruppe.
* ST. VINCENT: J8/K2CM vil operere fra Bequia Island (IOTA NA-25) fra 8.
januar til 12. februar på 20 meter og kanskje 40 meter med CW og SSB.
*JAPAN: Den spesielle stasjonen 8J3SENTO vil operere hele januar. QSL via
JARL-byrået.
*PAPUA NEW GUINEA: P29CS opererer fra Lihir Island (IOTA OC-69). QSL
formodentlig til operatøren VYØPW.
*FERNANDO DE NORONHA: PY2XB/PYØF vil operere fra 23. januar til 3. februar
på alle bånd med CW, SSB, RTTY og PSK-31. I CQ WW 160 m CW Contest vil han
operere som PQØF. QSL til begge kallesignaler via PT7WA.
*AUSTRALIA: Den spesielle stasjonen VI2AJ2Ø1Ø er i gang til 14. januar fra
den australske speiderlandsleiren i Sydney med mer enn 13.000 speidere til
stede, på HF og VHF-båndene. QSL via VK2FFG.
* VANUATU: YJØMM blir aktiv 21. - 28. januar med to
stasjoner samtidig på 160 - 10 meter med CW, SSB og RTTY. QSL via 9A8MM.
